The fusion of such form, created as an extension of the human body and its relationship of hard and soft materials, creates a sculptural beauty of very natural origin. I have tried to transcend the debate of design but evolving the timepiece as an extension of the body in the way that a piece of cloth takes on the underlying form in the work of Issey Miyake.
