Carbon Composite Bicycle for Biomega, Denmark. 1997-1999.The bicycle frame has been formed from a carbon composite matrix to create a stiff and highly resistant monocoque with a very new and economic organic geometry. It’s a wishbone structure linking the functional elements of the design in the most direct way with a direct drive shaft embedded into the form. The elliptical hole is there to lighten the design sculpturally and to provide a void into which a wall bracket can be placed to hang the bicycle on the wall assisted by folding handlebars and peddles, saving space for urban dwelling.
